Relax your muscles, calm your heart, reflect on your journey, and explore the crescents of your mind with the help of Ganzfeld’s light and sound stimulation. Ganzfeld Effect, a German term that means a “whole field” of sensory stimulation, was coined by Wolfgang Metzger in 1930. It is a form of progressive relaxation with meditative effects. It was first developed within Gestalt psychology to explore and understand consciousness as a whole from the parts that construct it. The 30 to 60-minute sessions will help you understand the dimensions of your consciousness better with the help of your therapist. However, you can evoke similar sensations, imageries, and associated feelings from the comfort of your safe place.
Ganzfeld Effect Therapy usually integrates red light and white noise to stimulate you into an altered state of consciousness. You will need to loosely blindfold yourself and relax in your chair or bed for optimal results. Make sure your blindfold is translucent, and you adjust the volume of the audio-video to your desired level. Previously, in parapsychological and neuroscientific studies, ping-pong balls were halved and tapped over the eyes. Although, you can use the D-I-Y Ganzfeld to add your personal touch of creativity.

GET Online will put your brain in the alpha band which comprises a bunch of alpha and theta brainwaves responsible for our connections with our internal self. When the brain is entrained within these brainwaves, we are most likely to have enhanced neural activities, feel relaxed, become calm or reflective, and navigate the enlightening experience. Let us know if you have spiritual encounters.

The procedure was really calming. I felt my mind and my muscles loose considerable amount of tension. many thoughts crossed my mind but it did not affect my emotions much, it was a calm assessment. At some point, I broke out of it twice to check if the door is open because I thought I heard it opening.
The toolkit was easy but answering it by circling it is a challenge , would prefer to have clicked the correct rating.

This is the only original Ganzfeld Effect Therapy Toolkit. It was extremely relaxing and calming. The report I received after sending the scores was also informative and enlightening.

The process was quite meditative, in its essence, and thus lives up to its claim of being self-therapy. The audio-video provided put me in a trance-like state where I was able to not only hear thoughts (like we usually do) but experience visuals and almost dream-like states that were shifting across time and space through various thought spaces/patterns. It was certainly a fascinating experiment to undergo and one I believe that any individual should go through for not only the common reason of self-therapy but to experience something entirely new and unknown. The most important thing I got out of it however, was a mentally refreshed feeling and a different lens through which I was able to view myself.
